Important notice to all owners and operators of Limited Category aircraft. We have known for some time that, particularly during the early days of Limited Category, certain maintenance organizations made errors when they issued Certificates of Airworthiness. It is important that these errors be identified and corrected; accordingly, it is important that ALL CofA’s be checked by AWAL.

All owners / operators are therefore requested  to photocopy ALL pages of their aircraft’s CofA, including the annexe, and send it to Charlie Camilleri, Director of self Administration, AWAL, at PO Box 305, Bathurst NSW 2795.

In due course CASA will be in contact with all owners. It would be desirable to fix the problem BEFORE then.
