A former Chilean Air Force Extra 300, has found its way into private ownership in Sydney. This aircraft was part of the 'Halcones Aerobatics Squadron' of the 'Fuerza Aerea de Chile' until 2003, when the team re-equipped with Extra 300L mounts. The owner plans to retain the aircraft's Chilean military markings and hopes to shortly join the growing ranks of interesting ex-military aircraft operating in Australia.
