| 20 May, 2007 - DAVE HOLBOURN'S CJ6A VH-CJA 'ADVENTURE 88'
Re my request for pictures of your aeroplane and it's story, I thought I would start the ball rolling by introducing 'Adventure 88' so as to give you some idea of the sort of thing we need to brighten up our site and to make it more interesting. The photographs are copyright by DAEDALUS. VH-CJA was the first CJ6A to be imported from China to the UK and was featured in PILOT Magazine in April 1995. Subsequently she was purchased by a colleague of mine and imported to Australia where Mal Rose in Port Macquarie modified the airsystem to use scuba bottles along with other modifications. I purchased the aircraft about eight years ago and commissioned Lindsay Sinclair of Redstar Aviation to work his majic in a major refurbishment. In fact, if you visit his website at www.redstaraviation.com.au, you can see some very convincing then and now pictures. With a new registration of CJA and an approved ATC callsign of 'Adventure 88' , VH-CJA is based at Goolwa in South Australia. OK fellow AWALers that's my story; now how about a few words and some pictures of your pride and joy. Rgds. Dave Holbourn
