VH LNM retuning from the Wagga Air Force open day in November 09 with Michael as pilot and wife Linda in the back.

 The following was received from Michael re the history of the aircraft.

  I picked this aircraft up from Essendon it was one of 4 brought in by Xin Lin & Steve Newing, back in 2002 and  transported it To Albury in October 2003 . I started to restore it in January 2004 and worked on it for 9 months every weekend after work and any free time I had.

Steve Death from Hazair was involved in the restoration and assisted heaps, with out his help it would have taken a lot longer to get back in the air.  Steve certified it and did the test flight, since then my wife Linda and I have had a lot of fun in it and have attended quite a few AAA events as well as Temora and  Point Cook, It’s a joy to fly and I would recommend to anyone, if they have a chance, to get a ride in a Nanchang to take it up as they will enjoy it.
