31 January, 2010 - MARK CARR'S MOTH MINOR

DH 94 Moth Minor VH-CZB, ex A21-42 ex VH-ACR, was imported from the UK then impressed into the RAAF during World War Two.  Back in civilian use, it fell into disrepair and hung from the roof at Gilltrap’s Auto Museum on the Gold Coast for several decades.  Acquired as a static exhibit from the Caboolture Warplanes Museum, it was the subject of a six year restoration and flew for the first time in sixty years in 2008, in its RAAF colours.  It is in the process of being moved into the Limited category and will hopefully be approved for Adventure Flights from Benalla, Victoria, soon after paperwork is complete, along with Winjeel  VH-CZE.
