Attached are some photos of my Yak 55M.
It was owned by the Russian aerobatic team and was kept as a spare aircraft. It came over here in 1997 with 14 hours on it.
It now has 160 hours TT and is awesome to fly.

The 52 was built in 1984 and flew in Russia for about three years accumulating 498 hours and was then parked until 2002. Mark McNicol found it, then imported it in 2003 and spent four years overhauling it.
The aircraft was used for military abinito training where students would learn to fly to a high standard before moving onto a jet like the L39. The cockpit layout is very similar to the L39.  The aircraft has now been completly overhauled. Every component has been removed and replaced or overhauled. 23 September, 2008 - Graham's New Zealand based aircraft

* Fleet 16B 'Finch' ZK-AGC. Built  1941 for the RCAF. Flew as trainer during WW-II then to various civilian owners. I have owned it since tracking it down in Phoenix, AZ and buying it in 2004. Nice machine, the niece of a Tiger Moth but with 165 hp, much faster. Currently active.


 

* Nanchang ZK-WOK, I have been involved with this machine since a group of us brought it into the country to establish 'syndicate ownership'. I now own it outright. Presently it is undergoing some cosmetic attention...

VH-ZRO started life as a Canadian-built Harvard Mk4 in 1952. In the late 60's it was purchased by 20th Century Fox and converted to be a "Tora Tora Zeke" for the movie Tora Tora Tora.
 
Mods included bigger engine cowl, smaller canopy, reworked cockpit, fairing over of rear seat, altered rudder shape, retractable tail wheel, mods to wing leading edge, extended and rounded wing tips, gas gun, smoke, extended u/c legs and new doors.
